Meet Wyle & Ra
Ra
Yoga found Ra just four years ago, and quickly made its way into her heart, and transformed into a life long passion. In 2020, Ra traveled to India to complete her 200-hour RYT in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow at Sampoorna Yoga School. Since then, she has been teaching at fitness studios, private classes, and retreats.
Ra’s practice is explorative, fun, and lighthearted. Her warm, soft nature and gentle guidance makes every flow accessible to everyone in the room. Whether a beginner or novice yogi, you are sure to leave her class feeling empowered and peaceful.
Ra is passionate about sharing the teachings of yogic philosophy and guiding others in finding the light within themselves. In her spare time you will find her deepening her relationships, traveling, or soaking up any sun she can find.
Wyle
Wyle had the privilege of first being introduced to yoga during high school by his football coach. Upon graduating, Wyle took time to travel to Mysore, India to immerse himself upon the same sacred soil where the practice first sprouted. Through this journey Wyle began to understand the true principles and meaning of yoga, shaping his perception of how the practice should be applied to one's life.
Wanting to broaden their understanding of one's own practice, Wyle completed his 200-hour RYT at Yoga Salt in Los Angeles. Through teaching, Wyle hopes to shine light on meditation and all the forms one may find it most present in their daily routine. Reminding us that one breath at a time we can explore deep within, while amplifying our awareness as we journey through the world around us.
Wyle is excited for opportunities to lead guided meditations, Vinyasa, Hatha yoga, or Nidra sessions to help students connect deeper to themselves and to their community. When he has the time, Wyle can be found looking for waves at the Oregon coast, exploring new trails deep in the woods, or creating collective pieces of art with ones he loves.
Our Love
Wyle and Ra met in 2020, connecting for the first time over tea at Laurelhurst Park in Portland—and the rest was history. They spent that summer falling in love, navigating the city on Wyle’s yellow submarine bicycle, setting up their hammock to take in different views, and creating time to truly understand each other down to their souls. They connected deeply over their shared love of yoga, gaining new experiences through travel, and brightening the days of those around them.
Since then, they have created Love Our Practice, offering yoga retreats within their community, weekly classes, and pop-up mindfulness events. They’ve continued to explore the world, traveling to places including Costa Rica, Mexico, Hawaii, and India—deepening their practice and understanding through a lifelong journey of learning. They truly believe that we are all both students and teachers, finding joy in expanding their knowledge through trainings and practicing with teachers around the world.
Most recently, they became 500-hour certified yoga teachers together in Goa, India, at Sthira Yoga School.
